GlobalFoundries in Vermont is seeking a Sr. Factory Automation Technician to sustain the fab floor and resolve issues in automation systems and robotics. This N1/N2 night-shift hourly role includes a 12-hour compressed week with a 12.5% night differential.

The position requires an Associate degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical) or equivalent military experience, 18+ months of relevant work, and fluency in English. Safety and teamwork are essential.

Formación

• Education and English fluency required.

• Ability to work 12-hour shifts (nights/days) and lift up to 30 lbs.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor, control, and repair factory automation and mobile robotics equipment.
• Perform basic preventive maintenance activities.
• React to error messages of factory systems and/or equipment.
• Process wafers using defined procedures.
• Perform visual inspections (quality checks).
• Recover from equipment and system interruptions.
• Identify and address improvements to optimize tool availability, cycle time, utilization and cost.
• Complete all required reporting and documentation.
• Follow health, safety, and environmental procedures and requirements.
• Participate in continuous improvement and skills development.
• Collaborate with a global team and stakeholders.
