Job summary

Memorial Hermann Health System in the Texas Medical Center seeks a Registered Nurse for FULL TIME, NIGHT SHIFT at Children’s Memorial Hermann Hospital. The 118-bed Level IV NICU cares for premature and critically ill newborns.

Must have at least 1 year NICU experience and work within a multidisciplinary team. The unit partners with McGovern Medical School at UTHealth to provide comprehensive pediatric subspecialty care and 24/7 neonatology access.

Qualifications

• Education: Accredited School of Professional Nursing graduate; BSN preferred.
• Licenses/Certifications: TX RN license in good standing; BLS.
• Experience: NICU experience strongly preferred; ability to work nights.

Responsibilities

• Delivers safe, appropriate nursing care per patient needs and nursing standards.
• Collaborates with an interdisciplinary team to plan and deliver care.
• Provides patient education and maintains accurate medical records.
• Coordinates treatment plans and discharge/transfer planning.
• Supports program evaluation and quality improvement efforts.
• Adheres to regulatory requirements and Memorial Hermann policies.
• Promotes professional growth and may serve as a preceptor.
