Job summary

Memorial Hermann Health System in Texas is seeking an experienced NICU RN for a full-time night shift at Children’s Memorial Hermann Hospital in the Texas Medical Center. Must have at least 1+ years of Level III/IV NICU experience and an active Texas RN license with BLS certification.

You will collaborate with neonatology, nurses, and specialists to deliver high-quality care, coordinate planning, and support families through the care continuum.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in Texas and BLS certification.
• Progression through RN I–IV with increasing years of NICU experience.
• Ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and educate patients.

Responsibilities

• Delivers safe and appropriate nursing care to NICU patients.
• Coordinates nursing care with an interdisciplinary team and clinicians.
• Directs and delegates to the healthcare team to achieve positive patient outcomes.
• Develops and implements discharge and transfer plans as needed.
• Participates in program evaluation, process improvement and outcomes.
• Adheres to regulatory standards and hospital policies.
• Supports staff development and mentoring of less experienced nurses.
• Provides compassionate, personalized experiences for families.
