Job summary

FHI 360 is seeking a procurement professional in Washington, DC to manage the end-to-end procurement of goods and services. You will follow established policies, process POs, monitor costs, and coordinate with departments to improve efficiency and sustainability.

The role requires 5+ years of procurement experience, English fluency, and familiarity with digital procurement platforms. It includes relocation logistics support and supplier performance reviews.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or international equivalent in Business Administration or related field.
• Procurement-related certification (such as CPSM or APICS) preferred.
• Experience with digital procurement systems and process automation is a plus.
• Experience in NGO procurement is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares, maintains, and reviews Procurement files, reports, and price lists.
• Assists in developing bid specifications for RFx process.
• Reviews requisitions and vendor proposals for accuracy and specs.
• Contacts suppliers to schedule or expedite deliveries and ensure contract terms are met.
• Maintains compliance with procurement regulations and shares updates with stakeholders.
• Validates shipments and ensures orders meet specifications.
• Analyzes quotations and schedules deliveries.
• Prepares purchase orders and contractual documents and expedites delivery.
• Develops and maintains procurement records and files.
• Manages procurement logistics for relocations of expatriate employees.
