Senior Nexus Systems Administrator

The Opportunity:

CACI is seeking a Senior Nexus Systems Administrator to support complex IT services and strategic mission systems development for USSTRATCOM. This role involves designing, implementing, managing, and optimizing Nexus systems critical for mission operations.

The work location is Omaha, Nebraska. This position is contingent upon award of the USSTRATCOM SCITLS contract.

Responsibilities:

• Support Nexus Repository management
• Monitor system and network performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement corrective actions
• Manage network configurations, including VLANs, routing protocols, QoS, and security policies
• Perform capacity planning, upgrades, and network security measures
• Configure and troubleshoot Nexus devices, including advanced features and automation
• Document network topology and changes
• Lead implementation of new Nexus devices and configurations
• Work rotating shifts as required
• Perform additional duties as assigned to meet mission needs

Qualifications:

Required:

• Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field
• Minimum 7 years of systems administration experience, focusing on Nexus or similar technologies
• Certifications: 8140 Cert within 6 months (e.g., Security+, Cloud+, GICSP, SSCP, GSEC), or relevant degree or training

Additional:

• Certifications related to DevSecOps, including AWS
• Strong knowledge of network protocols, security, virtualization, and cloud computing
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

Salary Range: $65,000 - $136,500
