Senior Nexus Systems Administrator

The Opportunity:

CCI is seeking a Senior Nexus Systems Administrator to support complex IT services and strategic mission systems development for USSTRATCOM. This role involves designing, implementing, managing, and optimizing Nexus systems for mission-critical operations.

The work location is Omaha, Nebraska, contingent upon contract award.

Responsibilities:
  • Support Nexus Repository management
  • Monitor system and network performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement corrective actions
  • Manage network configurations, including VLANs, routing protocols, QoS, and security policies
  • Perform capacity planning and upgrades
  • Implement advanced features on Nexus devices and ensure security measures
  • Document network topology and configurations
  • Lead the implementation of new Nexus devices and configurations
  • Participate in network architecture design and planning
  • Work rotating shifts as required
  • Perform other duties as assigned to meet mission needs
Qualifications:

Required:

  • Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field
  • Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience
  • 8140 Certification within 6 months of hire (e.g., Security+, Cloud+, GICSP, SSCP, GSEC)

Additional certifications related to DevSecOps, AWS, and strong knowledge of network protocols, virtualization, and cloud computing are preferred.

Pay Range:

The salary range is $65,000 - $136,500, influenced by various factors including location, experience, and certifications. We offer comprehensive benefits to support employees and their families. Learn more here.
