Amazon seeks a seasoned product leader for its Special Projects team in Seattle, tasked with identifying and building new businesses that can scale globally. You will write business reports and proposals, evaluate opportunities, and pitch to senior leadership for funding.

The role demands data-driven thinking, startup-like agility, and the ability to work across teams to define the opportunity and required resources. Relocation to Seattle is expected in the near term.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition.
• Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product.
• Experience in technical product management.
• 10+ years of end to end product delivery experience.

Responsibilities

• Identify and qualify opportunities for new Amazon businesses.
• Perform extensive first-person research independently and with a team.
• Distill learnings into clearly-written proposals for discussions and review.
• Pitch rigorous business proposals to leadership for funding.
• Post-funding, build a team and grow, launch, and scale a new business.
