Job summary

The County of Santa Clara seeks an experienced EEG technologist to operate and maintain electroencephalographic and evoked potential equipment across multiple clinical sites. You will conduct standard and specialized neurophysiologic examinations under medical direction, ensuring high-quality data for diagnosis.

Required are graduation from an accredited EEG program or three years of EEG/evoked potentials experience, with strong knowledge of neurophysiology and patient safety during monitoring.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an EEG technology program accredited by the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation or three (3) years' experience in EEG and Evoked Potentials.
• Experience operating and maintaining electroencephalographic equipment and related neurophysiologic testing protocols.

Responsibilities

• Operate, calibrate, and maintain neurophysiologic laboratory equipment.
• Perform standard and specialized EEG and evoked potential studies including neonatal monitoring.
• Assist with surgical monitoring and intraoperative EEG in Neurosurgery and ENT cases.
