Job summary

CDW seeks a Senior Network / Voice Engineer to support enterprise network and voice communications in a secure federal environment. The role requires an active TS/SCI clearance and hands-on experience with VoIP, UC services, and voice equipment moves, adds, and changes.

You will focus on operations, troubleshooting, configuration, documentation, and coordination with network, telecom, cybersecurity, and mission stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance required.
• U.S. citizenship required due to federal security requirements.
• Hands-on experience supporting enterprise network and voice infrastructure in secure environments.
• Experience performing voice moves, adds, changes, and deletions for IP phones, extensions, voicemail, and call routing.
• Working knowledge of VoIP technologies, SIP, RTP, QoS, dial plans, gateways, trunks, and unified communications platforms.
• Strong understanding of core networking concepts: TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, switching, WAN/LAN connectivity, and troubleshooting.
• Experience with Cisco UC Manager, Unity Connection, voice gateways, IP phones, CUBE/SBCs.

Responsibilities

• Perform moves, adds, changes, and deletions for voice equipment and related telephony services.
• Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot IP phones, analog devices, voice gateways, and UC components.
• Support day-to-day voice operations, provisioning, incident response, ticket resolution, user support.
• Troubleshoot voice quality and connectivity issues including one-way audio and dropped calls.
• Coordinate with carriers, vendors, and government stakeholders to support service restoration.
• Create and maintain documentation for voice infrastructure, dial plans, and change records.
