Job summary

Twin Valley Telephone Inc in the United States is seeking a Network Technician II to lead day-to-day support for a business customer-facing network, provisioning and IT operations. You will interact with customers on trouble reports and network events, and contribute to installation, provisioning, and troubleshooting of access, transport, business and residential services.

The role requires strong networking knowledge, problem-solving skills, collaboration across Field Operations, Tier 1/2 teams

Qualifications

• Associate degree in communications technology or related area.
• MEF Carrier Ethernet Certified Professional required.
• Proficiency with Cisco or Juniper CLI.
• Two to five years of IP networking, routing, and transport experience.
• Experience with hosted VoIP/UCaaS platforms (SIP, call routing).
• Valid driver's license and insurability.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Field Operations and Tier 1/2 teams to resolve complex service issues.
• Serve as backup to the central office technician.
• Coordinate with external entities for troubleshooting and testing.
• Interact with service managers, delivery, and sales engineering to improve operations.
• Lead or assist with project work.
