Job summary

Grid4 Communications, Inc. is seeking a Network Technician II to join a great team and have a real impact on the business. The role emphasizes customer service and technical acumen in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate will monitor network elements, perform remote troubleshooting, provide status updates to customers, and assist Field Services teams with remote support. A bachelor’s degree and Cisco certifications are preferred, with 2+ years of voice and data troubleshooting

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in related field is required.
2+ years of voice and data troubleshooting experience.
CCNA, CCENT, or other Cisco certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

Monitor core network elements, performance, and facilities for service issues.
Perform remote troubleshooting and maintain a positive, professional manner in high-stress situations.
Provide installation/configuration guidance and testing to customers and partners.
Act as first level of escalation for repairs and orders for Customer Care and Service Delivery.
Provide remote support for Field Services teams.
Be able to work a flexible, off-hours schedule as needed.
