Job summary

Kavaliro is seeking a Network Systems Manager for a contract-to-hire opportunity in Colorado. This role leads the Network Systems Department, guiding strategy, operations, and security for core infrastructure across locations.

You will oversee networking, servers, virtualization, cloud services, backups, disaster recovery, and identity management while driving continuous improvement and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• 8+ years of progressive IT infrastructure experience.
• 3+ years of leadership or team management experience.
• Experience managing infrastructure in multi-site environments.
• Strong project management experience.
• Experience managing vendors and budgets.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Network Systems team to ensure high performance and professional growth.
• Oversee network and systems infrastructure for availability and reliability.
• Manage enterprise LAN/WAN/Wi‑Fi, servers, virtualization, cloud (Azure/Office 365), storage, backups, DR, and identity access management.
• Drive project planning, roadmaps, and strategic initiatives with IT leadership.
• Establish SLAs and improve operations through automation and standardized processes.
• Mentor staff, manage hiring/onboarding/training, and address performance issues.
