Job summary

Kavaliro is seeking a Systems Engineer for a direct-hire role supporting a bank's IT infrastructure in California. You will oversee servers, workstations, and network devices, design and enforce system controls, and coordinate third-party connections through the external firewall.

The position emphasizes OS installation, security procedures, and end-user support. Responsibilities include patch management, backups, SOX compliance, vulnerability scanning, and NAC management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field; MCP certification required. MCSE or additional certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• System and Network Administration for local and wide area networks.
• Configure and maintain security infrastructure environment to ensure network and systems integrity.
• Where applicable and management approved, add and delete users on network-connected devices and applications.
• Oversee adherence to and ensure compliance with SOX for network/system operations.
• Implement and maintain remote access servers, domain servers, security firewalls, and network devices.
• Perform maintenance on servers, domain configurations, e-mail user files, and databases.
• Collaborate with Security to provide law enforcement evidence when needed.
