Job summary

Kroll is seeking a hands-on Tier III systems engineer to stand up and operate an enterprise operations center. You will own Windows and Linux servers, directory services, virtualization, storage, and the monitoring platform, supporting remote client facilities and on-site data centers across the continental US.

The role emphasizes security compliance, RMF artifacts, patching, incident response, and after-hours on-call, with opportunities to lead junior engineers and contribute to dashboard

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related field or 8–10 years of related experience.
• 8+ years engineering experience in enterprise systems administration or infrastructure monitoring.
• Hands-on Windows Server and Linux administration with AD DS, GPO, DNS/DHCP, and PowerShell.
• Virtualization and hypervisor administration experience; enterprise monitoring tools.
• SNMP, syslog collection, alerting, and TCP/IP troubleshooting expertise.

Responsibilities

• Administer Windows Server and Linux systems across separate networks.
• Manage directory services, authentication, and virtualization infrastructure.
• Install, tune, and maintain the enterprise monitoring platform and dashboards.
• Integrate monitoring with ticketing and automate alerting; reduce noise.
• Support RMF artifacts, patching, hardening, incident response, and after-hours on-call.
