Job summary

Tucson Airport Authority is seeking a senior IT professional to design, implement, and support its network and computing systems across on‑premise and cloud environments. You will work with VMware, Cisco devices, firewalls, and security systems to ensure performance, security, and reliability.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in IT/CS or information security and at least seven years in medium to large network environments, with strong incident response and documentation skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college/university with major coursework in Information Technology, Business, Information/Cybersecurity.
• Seven (7) years of experience in medium to large network infrastructure environments.
• Must obtain and maintain access to the Secure Identification Display Area (SIDA).

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, maintain and support Tucson Airport Authority’s network and computing systems on premise and in cloud environments.
• Install, configure and troubleshoot routers, switches, firewalls, cabling, and other network hardware; monitor performance and optimize systems.
• Perform security assessments, patches, upgrades, and incident response; ensure data backups and disaster recovery readiness.
