Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking a Sr Systems Development Engineer in Austin, TX to design, build, and operate the networks that power Amazon fulfillment, logistics, and delivery services at scale.

You will lead cross-functional teams, tackle complex networking challenges, and influence roadmaps while balancing business needs with technical constraints. The role emphasizes automation, security, and scalable solutions across locations.

Qualifications

• Experience leading design, automation, deployment, and support of large-scale infrastructure.
• Experience with Linux/Unix.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines build processes.
• 4+ years building complex software systems.
• 2+ years of networking experience, or experience with Network Protocols: TCP/IP, Ethernet, L2/L3 technologies.
• Experience in managing and troubleshooting network, or experience with automation and any version control tools and experience in Network protocols like DNS/DHCP/TCP.
