Job summary

Destination Enterprises is recruiting for a Programmer/Analyst III to lead network administration and operations at the BuildLACCD PMO and nine campus sites.

You will configure and maintain physical and virtual environments, manage servers and security devices, and support Level 2–3 tickets. A strong Windows/AD background, PowerShell scripting, and experience with VMware/Hyper-V are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 7 years of applicable systems and network administration experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree in computer science or related field; additional four years may substitute for education.
• Strong troubleshooting and teamwork skills with attention to detail.
• Experience with Windows Servers, DNS, DHCP, SMTP, HTTP/HTTPS, SFTP, and related protocols.
• Familiarity with Entra ID, Active Directory, SharePoint management, and Office 365.

Responsibilities

• Configure, manage and provide technical networking support for physical and virtual environments.
• Test, install, configure and maintain operating systems, applications, and network devices.
• Ensure system uptime and effective communication with the IT team.
• Oversee administration of systems and servers to ensure availability of services.
• Install and configure client and server network software; perform upgrades as needed.
• Monitor network issues, take corrective action for efficient operation.
• Manage projects to deliver services per objectives; document SOPs and procedures.
• Support firewalls, Wi-Fi APs, switches, and other network devices.
• Provide timely assistance to staff, vendors, and site personnel; investigate issues.
• Develop and enforce procedures to ensure quality and productivity.
