Job summary

Electric Hydrogen seeks an experienced enterprise network engineer to own the internal network estate across multiple sites. You will manage firewall and switching architectures, VLAN and Layer 3 design, and secure inter-zone connectivity.

The role requires hands-on ownership, VMware networking expertise, and the ability to establish hybrid connectivity to major cloud providers while supporting a fast-paced, innovation-driven environment in the clean energy space.

Qualifications

• Eight or more years in enterprise network engineering.
• Ownership of multi-site estate and hands-on firewall/switching policy.
• Design of VLAN/L3 routing and secure inter-zone communication.

Responsibilities

Requirements

Eight or more years in enterprise network engineering. A proven track record supporting internal OT: manufacturing, test, lab, or production equipment on a network you were responsible for. A period where a multi-site estate was genuinely yours. Deep hands-on ownership of an enterprise firewall and switching platform at policy and architecture level. VLAN and Layer 3 design, routing, and firewall policy between zones under real constraints. VMware networking, and hybrid connectivity to at least one major cloud. Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent experience.
