Electric Hydrogen is seeking a Staff Power Systems Engineer to drive the design and integration of electrical systems for renewable hydrogen production. This role involves optimizing power systems, conducting complex analyses, and mentoring engineering teams. We are seeking a Staff Power Systems Engineer to develop connection specifications between Electric Hydrogen's power systems and medium-voltage utility grids. In this role, you will manage all aspects of electrical installation design, including reviewing third-party EPC designs and performing internal design work. You will conduct power systems analyses using modeling and simulation software to evaluate real-world system characteristics, including load flow, short circuit performance, transient stability, harmonic behavior, active linear loads, and other operational characteristics. You will also play a key role in ensuring the safe, reliable, and efficient integration of Electric Hydrogen systems into utility and industrial power networks.
You will work onsite in San Jose, CA and report to the Director, Power Platform.
San Jose Zone: $200,000 — $235,000 USD
Actual base salary offered to the hired applicant will be determined based on their work location, level, qualifications, job-related skills, as well as relevant education or training and experience.
