Job summary

Vertex Education seeks a Network & Systems Administrator to stabilize IT operations across Legacy Traditional Schools. You will administer Windows Server, Active Directory, Hyper-V, and hybrid identity platforms while maintaining hybrid cloud services and on-prem infrastructure.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience administering multi-site Microsoft environments.
• Strong understanding of firewalls, switches, and wireless infrastructure in a multi-vendor setup.
• Proficiency managing hybrid identity platforms (Entra ID, Google Workspace).
• Experience with enterprise monitoring (PRTG) and backup (Veeam) solutions.

Responsibilities

• Administer core network devices and server infrastructure to ensure high availability.
• Resolve incidents with rapid restoration and conduct root-cause analysis for persistent issues.
• Document changes, diagrams, and SOPs; improve automation and reduce manual tasks.
• Collaborate across network, server, and application teams and participate in on-call rotations.
