Job summary

LINX in Denver is seeking a Network & System Administrator to design, implement, and support our network, servers, and cloud services. You will ensure secure, reliable IT operations and contribute to strategic technology initiatives.

The role requires 5+ years of experience, a Bachelor's in IT or related field, and hands-on expertise with Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, networking, virtualization, and backup. Azure experience and PowerShell are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of network and systems administration experience.
• Experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Networking technologies (switching, routing, firewalls), Virtualization platforms, Backup and recovery solutions.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Strong documentation and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, maintain, and support LAN/WAN, wireless, and VPN environments.
• Configure and support switches, routers, firewalls, and related infrastructure.
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues.
• Maintain network diagrams and standards; coordinate with vendors.
• Administer Windows Server environments and Active Directory, DNS, DHCP.
• Manage virtualization platforms and server infrastructure; perform upgrades.
• Support Microsoft 365 and Azure; monitor performance and capacity.
• Collaborate on security initiatives; implement controls and incident response.
• Provide Tier 2/3 escalation support; participate in projects.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation; identify automation opportunities.
