Summit Broadband is seeking a Field Services Technician to join our Tech Ops team in Central Florida. The role focuses on in-field installation, repair, and maintenance of fiber, coax, and networking systems, with significant customer interaction and high service standards.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years telecommunications experience required.
• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required.
• Must have SCTE Certification or receive certification within a year (company paid).
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience with service/install of networking & telephony lines.
• Must have valid driver’s license with a clear MVR.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain Summit Broadband's products and services through field operations.
• Spend 70% of time customer premises and interface with high level clients and management teams.
• Respond to needs of a 24/7/365 operation and be available after hours and weekends.
• Fiber optic troubleshooting and splicing; ensure safety, productivity, quality, and customer service.
