Job summary

Optimum is seeking a Network SRE with a reliability mindset to join our infrastructure team. You will maintain and expand our high-performance traffic management architecture using primarily F5 equipment and drive automation and observability.

As a Senior Network SRE, you will transition from manual configurations to automated, resilient network operations and oversee VIP provisioning and certificate lifecycles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of relevant experience.
• F5 Fluency: BIG-IP GUI and tmsh, including Virtual Servers and iRules.
• Solid understanding of TCP/IP, HTTP/HTTPS, DNS, and SSL/TLS.

Responsibilities

• Configure, deploy, and troubleshoot load balancing infrastructure with F5 BIG-IP LTM/GTM.
• Act as first line of defense for complex app delivery issues and investigate VIP health.
• Develop automation: Python, Ansible, REST APIs to manage VIPs and pools.
• Improve observability by tuning monitoring tools and F5 telemetry.
• Plan zero-downtime maintenance for load balancers and certificates.
