Job summary

Cloudflare is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to advance Network On-Ramps on a hybrid team in Austin. You will work across a broad set of technologies to deliver features, improve performance, and scale our Network Services products at the edge.

The role emphasizes Go and Rust for systems programming, deep knowledge of L3/L4 networking, and a collaborative, customer-focused mindset within one of the world’s largest edge networks.

Qualifications

Experience building and shipping large-scale, reliable distributed systems.
Strong systems-level programming in Go and Rust.
Expertise in L3/L4 networking protocols.
Experience with Linux kernel networking primitives such as netfilter, nftables, eBPF, tc.
Experience designing RESTful APIs and backend systems.
Experience with large-scale distributed data pipelines and analytics.
Excellent debugging and optimization skills.
Attention to detail and ability to solve complex customer problems.
Own solutions end-to-end and drive design, development and deployment.
