Job summary

Cloudflare is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for Network Performance & Reliability in Austin, Texas. You will join the Argo team to enhance connectivity across Cloudflare’s product portfolio, collaborating with multiple engineering groups to deliver scalable, reliable software systems.

The role emphasizes hands-on development, system design, testing, and deployment, with experience in Rust, Go, Linux networking, and modern data tooling.

Qualifications

• Experience building network software at scale.
• Strong programming skills in Rust or Go.
• Ability to collaborate with multiple engineering teams.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve Cloudflare Argo network platform to enable reliable connectivity for products.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Network Engineering and SRE to translate requirements into platform capabilities.
• Design, document, code, test, and deploy production software across environments.
• Utilize Rust, Go, Linux networking, ClickHouse, PostgreSQL, Grafana, and Kubernetes to extend codebases and datasets.
