Job summary

EOG Resources in the United States is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to design, install, monitor, and troubleshoot servers and network devices across LAN/WAN. You will collaborate with security teams and field offices to keep systems available and secure.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in CS or equivalent, CCNA/CCNP, strong Cisco knowledge, VOIP and VPN expertise, and willingness to travel up to 30% and be on call 24x7.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• Five years’ experience in LAN/WAN administration.
• CCNA certification is required.
• CCNP certification is required.
• Good knowledge of Cisco equipment.
• Good knowledge of VOIP technologies.
• Good knowledge of VPN solutions.
• Good knowledge of routing protocols.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Designs, installs, monitors and troubleshoots servers and network devices.
• Maintains LAN/WAN infrastructure and IP internetworking.
• Supports field offices and division staff; collaborates with security teams.
• Travels to field offices up to 30% for special projects.
