Job summary

Concept Solutions is seeking a Network Engineer to join the IT Infrastructure Support team. The Network Engineer will administer, operate, and maintain the enterprise network, with a focus on configuring switches and performing switch upgrades across the US.

This onsite role requires a bachelor’s degree in IT/CS and at least 5 years of wired/wireless Cisco network experience in a large campus setting, plus Layer 3 routing knowledge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT/CS or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years in wired and wireless Cisco network experience in large Enterprise campus environment with multi-layer routing protocols.
• Knowledge and experience configuring and troubleshooting Cisco switches, including Catalyst and Nexus IOS.
• Layer 3 Experience with routing protocols such as OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, RIP, HSRP.

Responsibilities

• Perform infrastructure upgrades and improve wired and wireless networks.
• Configure switches prior to shipment to sites; travel to sites and perform switch upgrades.
• Provide reporting details on project status to project coordinators and managers.
• Administer, operate, and maintain the enterprise network.
• Plan and perform network engineering research, design development, and other assignments per specifications.
• Up to 50-75% travel to support sites within the US.
