Job summary

EOG Resources in the United States is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to design, install, monitor, and troubleshoot servers and network devices across LAN/WAN. You will collaborate with security teams and field offices to keep systems available and secure.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in CS or equivalent, CCNA/CCNP, strong Cisco knowledge, VOIP and VPN expertise, and willingness to travel up to 30% and be on call 24x7.

Job description

Essential Functions:

1. Administrative and technical work relative to the operation of the Division Infrastructure, including network, servers, storage devices.


2. Responsible for LAN/WAN functions and support including local and wide area networks, routers, switches, and other telecommunications equipment.


3. Acquires, maintains and trouble-shoots servers, systems, routers, switches.


4. Works with Division support personnel to prevent and resolve technical problems.


5. IP internetworking design.

1. Install, setup, manage and troubleshoot servers, including VMs.


2. Install, setup, manage and troubleshoot network disk arrays and storage devices

Job Description

Designs, installs, monitors, trouble shoots and repairs Servers, Network devices, Local Area and Wide Area network. Works with network security team using various Intrusion detection and Intrusion prevention technologies. Installs and maintains servers, storage devices, network routers, Firewalls, and switches. Provides first level support to Division LAN Managers and Infrastructure Support personnel. Travel to Field offices for special projects as needed.

Job Requirements
