Job summary

Rockwell Automation is seeking a Networks & Security Senior Test Engineer to verify robustness, vulnerability handling, and security of Stratix products. You will review vulnerability reports, work with PSIRT teams across locations, and help build automated test environments to push Rockwell products to the limit.

You will design and execute tests for security vulnerabilities, draft vulnerability responses, and help strengthen product reliability with a focus on IT/OT convergence and quality

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer engineering, CS or EE with CS focus.
• 3+ years of Networking and Security Engineering experience.
• Strong networks knowledge and protocol understanding.
• Experience designing/troubleshooting network implementations.
• Expertise in high‑complexity networking solutions and IT/OT convergence.
• Experience testing ethernet networks and test environment design.
• Hands-on with automated testing frameworks and Cisco IE/Stratix devices.
• Knowledge of industrial control systems and PSIRT processes.
• Strong written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to team planning and status meetings to clarify priorities, assignments, and deliverables.
• Execute routine functional testing with security tools using white/grey/black box methods.
• Analyze complex problems, document findings for future resolutions.
• Collaborate with developers to analyze and define issues discovered.
• Review Achillies, Defensics, and Pen test reports to identify issues.
• Create test scenarios, verify fixes in Stratix IOS/IOS-XE or similar devices.
• Develop automation strategies and test frameworks; expand test environments.
• Stay informed on networking technologies, industry trends, and IT/OT best practices.
