Job summary

Rockwell Automation is seeking a Senior Software Test Engineer to join an Agile team validating FactoryTalk Optix, an industrial visualization and HMI platform. You will create and run manual and automated tests, collaborate with product owners, developers, and other testers, and help ensure high-quality customer experiences.

You will build knowledge of FT Optix and industrial automation concepts while contributing to regression, release, and exploratory testing in a hybrid work model.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in CS/Engineering related field.
• 2+ years in software testing, test automation, or related tech role.
• Experience creating/executing/documenting manual and automated test cases.
• Experience with Python, C#, or similar languages.
• Familiarity with industrial automation/HMI software preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create, maintain, and execute manual and automated tests for FactoryTalk Optix features.
• Validate design-time and runtime workflows for reliable customer experience.
• Lead test planning, estimation, execution, and defect triage in an Agile team.
• Reproduce, document, and track defects with clear details.
• Collaborate with developers, product owners, and other testers on requirements.
