Job summary

The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District is seeking an experienced IT leader to supervise the information security and networking teams.

You will oversee day-to-day operations, coordinate with MSPs, and align security controls with NIST/CISA guidance to keep the district's LAN/WAN secure, available, and scalable. Reporting to IT leadership, you will manage incident response, patch management, risk assessment, and governance documents while driving metrics and continuous improvement across

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology (or related field) or equivalent years of experience.
• 5+ years of experience in a network technical role.
• At least 3 years in a senior level support position.
• Professional certification (e.g., CCIE) is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Information Security Analysts, Security Engineers, Network Engineers, and Network Analysts.
• Coordinate with MSPs for operational support, incident response, and projects.
• Collaborate with IT Architects and PMs to ensure secure, reliable, and scalable network infrastructure.
• Prioritize and respond to work requests; delegate to team to meet service levels.
• Ensure reliable connectivity of servers, workstations, voice equipment, and network devices; troubleshoot incidents.
• Develop and maintain network administration, security, and incident response documentation.
