Job summary

Infosys is seeking an Infrastructure Consultant 2 for our Financial Services unit in Reston, VA. The role focuses on resolving incidents, assessing IT infrastructure, and designing scalable solutions.

You will coordinate deployments, security checks, and cross‑team collaboration to drive efficiency and reliability across banking, wealth management, and insurance projects. Required expertise includes F5, Palo Alto, Cisco routing, and cloud familiarity; Terraform and Ansible are preferred.

Qualifications

• ,Experience in F5 Load Balancers, F5 LTM, F5 GTM; Palo Alto Firewalls; Cisco routing/switching
• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required; relocation/travel may be needed

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with internal and client teams to resolve complex incidents and document preventive recommendations
• Conduct infrastructure assessments and prepare actionable reports
• Design scalable, cost-effective IT infrastructure solutions and document deployments
• Align release schedules and perform deployments, testing and version control
• Coordinate maintenance, fixes and upgrades with uninterrupted integration
• Analyze performance data and support capacity planning to optimize systems
• Conduct security checks, drills, and audits and coordinate continuity plans
• Identify automation opportunities and propose efficiency improvements
• Liaise with onsite, offshore and vendor teams to capture requirements
• Develop a centralized knowledge repository from project insights
