Job summary

EY is seeking a highly technical Network Security Engineer - Assistant Director to lead Zscaler Cloud and ZPA deployments, segmentation, and workload security across Azure and data centers. This role requires deep hands-on engineering, complex troubleshooting, and collaboration with cloud and infrastructure teams to deploy Zero Trust at enterprise scale.

The successful candidate will bring extensive experience in Zscaler technologies, Azure networking, VMware data centers and automation skills,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 10-15 years of experience in network security, cloud security or security engineering.
• 8-12 years of hands-on experience deploying, configuring or supporting Zscaler technologies.
• Strong hands-on experience with Zscaler Private Access, application segments, App Connectors, Private Service Edges and access policies.
• Experience implementing least-privilege access models and user-to-application segmentation using ZPA.
• Experience with Azure networking, including VNets, routing, Private Link, Private Endpoint, ExpressRoute, Azure Firewall and Application Gateway.
• Experience deploying security solutions in VMware-based data centre environments.
• Experience automation or scripting using Python, PowerShell, Terraform, APIs or similar tools.
• Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and troubleshoot Zscaler Cloud and ZPA components.
• Implement ZPA access models with application-level access.
• Support onboarding of internal applications and workloads into ZPA.
• Validate routing, DNS, TLS, SAML, SCIM and identity-provider integrations for ZPA deployments.
• Maintain engineering documentation and operational handover materials.
• Work with EY Azure architecture and cloud engineering teams to drive secure Zscaler product integration.
