Job summary

EY is seeking a Network Security Engineer - Assistant Director to lead hands-on deployment of Zscaler Cloud, ZPA and workload segmentation across data centres and cloud environments. You will implement autonomous user‑to‑application segmentation with strict access controls and work with Azure, VMware and engineering teams.

This role focuses on engineering, deployment, testing, and optimization of Zero Trust security solutions, with a strong emphasis on scalable enterprise patterns and policy

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 10-15 years in network security, cloud security or security engineering.
• 8-12 years deploying Zscaler technologies (ZPA, App Connectors, Private Service Edges).
• Experience implementing least-privilege access models and user-to-application segmentation using ZPA.
• Strong knowledge of Azure networking and VMware-based data centres.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, configure and troubleshoot Zscaler Cloud and ZPA components including App Connectors, Private Service Edges, application segments and access policies.
• Implement ZPA access models providing application-level access without broad network access.
• Onboard internal applications, developer services and workloads into ZPA with validated routing, DNS, TLS, SAML, and identity provider integrations.
• Maintain engineering documentation, standards, test evidence and handover materials.
• Collaborate with EY Azure architecture and cloud engineering teams to drive secure Zscaler integration across Azure environments.
