Job summary

Ahold Delhaize USA is seeking a Sr. Network Security Engineer to lead architecture, deployment, and operations of enterprise security across data centers, cloud environments, retail locations, and offices.

You will drive zero-trust initiatives, manage firewalls and cloud security, and ensure compliance with PCI-DSS and HIPAA. This hybrid role requires in-person days at core locations and remote collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of work experience.
• 5+ years of progressive network security engineering experience.
• Strong hands-on with Palo Alto and Fortinet platforms.
• Experience with Zscaler ZIA/ZPA deployment and policy mgmt.
• Knowledge of PCI-DSS, HIPAA compliance in network security.

Responsibilities

• Lead design/engineering/operations of network security platforms (firewalls, web gateways, cloud security).
• Implement zero trust frameworks with micro-segmentation and least-privilege policies.
• Manage firewall rules, NAT, VPN across Palo Alto and Fortinet.
• Administer Zscaler ZIA/ZPA incl. URL filtering and SSL inspection.
• Drive PCI-DSS, HIPAA, SOX compliance and audit readiness.
• Act as SME in network security design; evaluate threats and tech.
• Support incident response with SOC and risk teams; containment and remediation.
• Develop network security automation for provisioning and reporting.
• Maintain runbooks and audit-ready security documentation.
• Coordinate with MSPs and internal teams for security incidents.
