Job summary

ADUSA, a division of Ahold Delhaize USA, seeks a Sr. Network Security Engineer to lead design, delivery, and operations of enterprise network security platforms.

The role focuses on zero trust, next-generation firewalls, and secure connectivity across data centers, cloud, retail locations, and offices. The role drives multi-year strategy to transform security posture, with PCI-DSS/HIPAA alignment and incident response coordination; a hybrid schedule requires 3 in-person days at core locations

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of work experience.
• 5+ years in enterprise network security engineering.
• Experience with Palo Alto Networks and Fortinet FortiGate.
• Zscaler ZIA/ZPA deployment, policy management, SSL inspection.
• Zero trust network architecture design with micro-segmentation.
• PCI-DSS and HIPAA compliance knowledge for security controls.
• Networking fundamentals with CCNA/CCNP level knowledge.
• Automation scripting for security devices and reporting.
• Experience with SIEM and network monitoring tools.
• Cloud security in AWS/Azure and hybrid connectivity.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, engineering, and operations of ADUSA network security platforms.
• Architect and implement zero trust frameworks across the enterprise.
• Manage firewall rules, security policies, NAT, and VPN across platforms.
• Oversee Zscaler ZIA/ZPA administration, URL filtering and SSL inspection.
• Drive PCI-DSS, HIPAA, SOX compliance and audit remediation.
• Act as SME on network security design and emerging threats.
• Participate in incident response and forensics with SOC teams.
• Develop network security automation for provisioning and reporting.
• Review security runbooks and maintain audit-ready documentation.
• Coordinate with MSPs and internal teams on incident management.
