Job summary

Comcast is seeking a Network Security Engineer to own the security posture across multiple platforms such as Cisco, Juniper, Arista, Nokia, F5, Fortinet. You will lead remediation, patch validation, and secure configuration rollout to ensure continuous compliance and secure operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent education/experience.
• 5+ years in Network Engineering/Security.
• 3+ years securing enterprise/service provider networks.
• Experience with Cisco, Juniper, Arista, Nokia, F5, Fortinet or equivalent tech.
• Hands-on routing and switching; vulnerability remediation and risk mitigation.
• Strong fundamentals: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, BGP, OSPF, MPLS; and security controls.

Responsibilities

• Own security posture and execution roadmap for network domains and platforms.
• Lead vulnerability remediation, risk mitigation, and patch validation.
• Validate secure software releases and changes in lab environments.
• Enforce secure configuration rollout across platforms and enable audit readiness.
• Coordinate evidence collection for PCI-DSS, SOC 2, NIST and related audits.
• Collaborate with security, architecture, network engineering and vendor teams.
• Develop and publish network security standards and hardening guidance.
