Job summary

Comcast is seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Engineer to design secure architecture and IAM solutions for our hybrid cloud environment in New Jersey. The role focuses on building robust authentication, authorization, and security automation capabilities across Linux/Unix and network devices.

The position requires 5+ years in cybersecurity engineering or IAM, with strong knowledge of RADIUS, TACACS+, LDAP, TLS, EAP-TLS, and mTLS, plus experience with Azure Entra ID and Secrets Management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field required or related experience.
• Master's degree preferred for advanced cybersecurity roles.
• Experience implementing AAA and IAM solutions in hybrid cloud environments.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement secure architecture and AAA solutions for network devices and Linux/Unix environments.
• Develop and integrate authentication and authorization technologies including RADIUS, TACACS+, LDAP, TLS, EAP-TLS, and mTLS.
• Support identity services leveraging Azure Entra ID, Secrets Management, and certificate-based authentication.
• Conduct security assessments, audits, and risk analyses to identify vulnerabilities and drive remediation efforts.
• Automate manual IAM and access management workflows to improve efficiency and reduce operational risk.
• Build and integrate Agentic AI solutions to automate authentication and authorization processes, improve decision-making, and enhance observability and auditability.
• Develop scalable full-stack applications and security automation solutions using Python, Perl, Node.js, and React.
• Design and implement integrations using REST APIs, message queues, and enterprise identity platforms.
• Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, architecture, design, testing, deployment, and production support.
• Investigate and respond to security incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
• Document technical solutions, processes, and recommendations for leadership and stakeholders.
• Provide technical guidance to project teams and junior engineers.
• Collaborate across engineering, infrastructure, and cybersecurity organizations to deliver secure, scalable solutions.
