Job summary

Cybersecurity Jobs is seeking a fully remote Network Security Engineer to support enterprise network-security infrastructure and continuous improvement across firewall, switching, logging, and security analytics. Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in network engineering, network security, firewall administration, or security infrastructure operations.
• 6+ years of hands‑on Palo Alto Networks firewall experience in a production enterprise environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, deployment, and lifecycle management of Palo Alto NGFW environments.
• Own centralized firewall management using Palo Alto Panorama and templates.
• Design and govern security policies using zero-trust and least-privilege principles.
• Configure and troubleshoot security zones, NAT, VPNs, and App-ID policies.
• Drive network segmentation and microsegmentation across zones and VLANs.
• Architect and troubleshoot Palo Alto HA deployments (Active/Passive, Active/Active).
• Lead root-cause analyses for major incidents and improve defenses.
