You will define and build core security services used across the company, collaborating with multiple engineering teams on access control, vulnerability management, and detection/response. The role requires deep security infrastructure expertise, strong system software development skills, and the ability to partner with developers to minimize friction while enforcing security.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in security or infra‑focused engineering roles with meaningful security ownership.
• Ability to independently own projects from inception to delivery.
• Systematic problem solving with strong communication and ownership.
• Empathy for developers and building tools that address their problems.
• Built vulnerability management systems that reduce risk.
• Led security incident response efforts and postmortems.
• Curiosity and persistence to understand how things work.
• Flexible, collaborative, and supportive team player.
• 3+ years of experience building infrastructure software in Go or Python.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and operate security tools and programs across the organization (access control, workflows, vulnerability management, detection/response).
• Collaborate with engineers and business to identify top needs and maintain a roadmap to address them.
• Participate in design reviews, threat modeling, and incident analysis.
• Help teams make high‑quality security decisions, especially in ambiguous situations.
• Set the bar for security, ownership, and quality across engineering.
