Point72 Asset Management, L.P in New York seeks a seasoned Network Security Engineer to help safeguard its global technology stack. You will design and implement resilient firewall architectures, focusing on Palo Alto platforms and scalable security controls across enterprise and perimeter environments.

You will collaborate with infrastructure, application, and security teams to ensure secure connectivity, perform root-cause analysis of incidents, and document operations for faster response.

Qualifications

• Seven or more years of experience in network security engineering or related enterprise roles.
• Hands-on skills with Palo Alto firewall infrastructure, including configuration and troubleshooting.
• Experience designing and managing firewall rules, policy controls, NAT, and high-availability configurations.
• Knowledge of enterprise networking concepts including routing, switching, segmentation, and secure remote access.
• Experience investigating network security events and remediation in production environments.

Responsabilités

• Engineer resilient network security solutions for Point72's global technology environment.
• Own configuration, maintenance, and improvement of Palo Alto firewall infrastructure across enterprise and perimeter environments.
• Design firewall policies balancing strong security with reliable connectivity for business-critical apps and users.
• Troubleshoot complex network security issues through root-cause analysis and coordinated remediation.
• Partner with infrastructure, application, and security teams to integrate security requirements into new platforms and deployments.
• Strengthen network segmentation practices to improve visibility and secure connectivity.
• Monitor firewall performance and security posture for tuning and policy improvements.
• Develop clear operational documentation to support incident response and knowledge sharing.
• Contribute to security assessments, remediation planning, and control validation.
