Prestigious Financial Institution in New York, NY seeks a Senior Network Security Engineer with deep Palo Alto and Cisco experience. You will design, deploy, migrate, and optimize security policies across global enterprise environments, partnering with infrastructure teams to ensure secure, highly available connectivity.

The role requires advanced troubleshooting, CLI‑based debugging, and strong routing knowledge (BGP, OSPF).

Qualifications

• 7+ years of network and security engineering experience in large-scale enterprise environments.
• Deep expertise with Palo Alto firewalls, SSL decryption, and Panorama-based management.
• Strong ability to design, deploy, migrate, and optimize security policies across complex networks.

Responsabilités

• Design, deploy, and migrate Palo Alto firewall solutions across global environments.
• Apply core networking principles (BGP, OSPF, routing design) to ensure resilient connectivity.
• Collaborate with network, cloud, and infrastructure teams for secure, scalable connectivity (on‑prem and hybrid).
• Serve as senior escalation point, driving advanced troubleshooting across firewalls and underlying network infra.
• Support security operations and incident response, diagnosing routing, NAT, policy enforcement, and application behavior.
• Mentor engineers and NOC staff, reinforce troubleshooting discipline and best practices.
• Deliver clear communication to technical stakeholders and senior leadership.
• Evaluate and recommend enhancements to security architecture and network design.
