Point72 seeks an experienced Network Security Engineer to protect our global technology environment. You will own Palo Alto firewall infrastructure, design secure policies, and partner with infrastructure, application, and security teams to deploy resilient, well-documented solutions.

The role emphasizes strong analytical and communication skills, with a focus on maintaining secure connectivity for business-critical applications and ensuring clear incident response playbooks.

Qualifications

• Seven+ years of enterprise network security experience.
• Hands-on Palo Alto firewall configuration and troubleshooting.
• Experience designing firewall rules, NAT, and high-availability configurations.
• Knowledge of routing, switching, segmentation, secure remote access, and perimeter security.
• Ability to document firewall configurations and support procedures.

Responsibilities

• Engineer resilient network security solutions for Point72's tech environment.
• Own Palo Alto firewall configuration, maintenance, and improvements.
• Design firewall policies balancing security with reliable connectivity.
• Troubleshoot network security issues with root-cause analysis.
• Collaborate with infra, app, and security teams to deploy secure platforms.
• Strengthen segmentation and monitor firewall performance for tuning.
• Create operational documents and share knowledge across the team.
• Support security assessments and remediation planning for network infra.
