Job summary

The role is 100% onsite with substantial leadership responsibilities. Ideal candidates possess 12+ years of IT/security experience, expertise with NGFW Palo Alto or Check Point, and strong skills in risk assessment, project leadership, and secure infrastructure design.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IS or related field or equivalent work experience.
• Preferred certifications: PCNSE, CISSP, CCNP, CCIE.
• 12+ years of IT and security experience across systems analysis, applications development, database design and administration.

Responsibilities

• Develops, implements, and manages enterprise security solutions across network, data, systems, cloud, and Web environments.
• Creates and maintains security policies, standards, procedures, and controls for authentication, access, monitoring, vulnerability management, and incident escalation.
• Performs risk assessments and prepares executive-level risk reports and recommendations.
• Monitors and responds to cybersecurity threats and incidents; coordinates remediation activities and maintains documentation.
• Evaluates new security technologies and leads technical evaluations and proofs-of-concept for enterprise networking and cybersecurity solutions.
• Provides leadership and mentoring to security staff and guides IT project lifecycle with security integration.
