Meridian IT Inc. in Chicagoland is seeking a Senior Network/Security Engineer to lead end-to-end network and security initiatives for client engagements.

The role encompasses project lifecycle management, pre-sales support, and mentoring peers, with a strong emphasis on troubleshooting and customer relationship management. The position requires 10+ years in networking/security, CCNP, PCNSE, Cisco ISE/ACI experience, and hands-on firewall expertise.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to peer engineers.
• Manage lifecycle (planning to close) for assigned projects.
• Participate in network project planning, budgeting and execution.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot network devices (routers, switches, firewalls).
• Provide support to managed service customers within SLAs.
• Lead presales activities: design end-to-end network and security solutions.
• Develop BOMs and SOWs with presales team.
