Brown University Health seeks a Systems Security Engineer to join the CISO team. This hands-on role requires deep technical and analytical expertise, including daily management of information security tools such as MDM and NAC, plus creating security documentation and evaluating new security suites.

Responsibilities include piloting new tools, assessing mobile platform security, and developing remediation strategies.

Qualifications

• Ten years of IS experience with five years in a dedicated security role.
• Bachelor's degree in information systems or equivalent; MBA/MS preferred.
• Certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, OSCP, OSWP, CISA, CRISC, GIAC, CEH, Security+ or similar.
• Expert level in security best practices and regulatory requirements.
• Strong experience with Mobile platforms (iOS, Android, OSX) and MDM solutions.

Responsabilités

• Pilot and evaluate new tools, technologies, and processes to enforce defined security policies.
• Assess mobile, IoT, and device security posture and determine policy compliance.
• Review security standards, policies, and configurations for mobile environments.
• Develop remediation strategies for vulnerabilities and misconfigurations.
• Participate in incident response, vulnerability management, and security projects.
• Prepare monthly security reports and collaborate with outsourced security vendors.
