Brown and Caldwell seeks a Senior Cyber Security Engineer to design, build, and support advanced security solutions while guiding the organization toward stronger compliance with SOC2, CMMC, and other frameworks. You will work with technical and business teams to mitigate risks and enable secure client solutions.

The role emphasizes incident and vulnerability management, secure automation, and governance across cloud and on-prem environments with limited oversight.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of relevant cybersecurity experience.
• Experience with incident and vulnerability management and providing security guidance.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, cybersecurity, information systems, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and respond to security alerts and tickets with precision.
• Provide security guidance and support for complex issues and threats.
• Develop, implement, and enforce security standards and guidelines for the company.
• Participate in the incident management process to respond and resolve security events.
• Perform regular vulnerability and security assessments and recommend solutions.
• Provide security requirements and guidance during new technology evaluations and implementations.
• Coordinate legal discovery, holds, and contract reviews as needed.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes via automation or efficiency.
• Perform complex scripting and debugging to automate security tasks.
