Job summary

SWBC is seeking an experienced Senior Network Security Engineer to design, implement, operate, and improve enterprise network security across on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments. The role focuses on Palo Alto Networks and Cisco firewalls, secure cloud connectivity, and complex incident resolution.

You will collaborate with multiple teams to ensure secure, resilient connectivity, own major platforms, mentor engineers, and drive change-control processes across the enterprise network

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience in a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in network engineering, network security, cloud network security, or infrastructure security.
• Hands-on experience with Palo Alto Networks firewalls and Cisco firewalls, including ASA or FTD.
• Experience with remote-access VPN and site-to-site IPsec VPN technologies.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, operate, and improve secure enterprise network architectures across on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments.
• Deploy and troubleshoot Palo Alto and Cisco firewalls, including policies and NAT configurations.
• Design network segmentation and micro-segmentation to reduce attack surfaces and lateral movement.
• Coordinate major firewall migrations, upgrades, and complex troubleshooting.
• Develop and maintain network security standards, diagrams, runbooks, and procedures.
