Job summary

Concept Solutions seeks a Network Engineer specializing in Firewall Support to join our Infrastructure Support Team supporting the FAA Infrastructure & Operations (I&O) Program. The role focuses on firewall administration across Check Point, Fortinet, and Zscaler, with emphasis on security, compliance, and incident response.

Qualifications include a IT-related bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, and 8+ years in IT with large-scale firewall environments. U.S.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in IT or related field or 12 years of relevant IT experience in lieu of a degree.
Experience managing firewall environments for large-scale organizations (35,000+ users).
Hands-on with Check Point, Fortinet and Zscaler technologies including monitoring and troubleshooting.
Experience preventing, detecting, and remediating cybersecurity incidents and events.
Experience tracking incidents through a ticketing system and developing incident response procedures.

Responsibilities

Manage multiple Check Point Firewall clusters for FAA IAP.
Support Zscaler platform (ZIA, ZPA, ZDX) and related security services.
Implement IPS, Anti‑Virus, Anti‑Bot, DLP, SSL Interception, and Identity Awareness.
Monitor and remediate cybersecurity events; participate in security assessments.
Collaborate with network, security, and operations teams to ensure availability and security.
