Job summary

SLALOM BUILD is seeking a seasoned program manager to oversee complex network infrastructure deployments in the Los Angeles area. You’ll lead planning, execution, and delivery across data centers, WiFi, switches, and firewalls, coordinating with construction teams and vendors.

You’ll bring 5+ years in program management for infrastructure projects, strong client relationship skills, and a background in consulting or tech deployment. This on-site role requires commuting within the LA region.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of program/project management experience in network infrastructure or technology deployment.
• Hands-on experience with physical network infrastructure (WiFi, data networks, switches, firewalls, servers).
• Direct exposure to data center, network room, or campus infrastructure implementation.
• Experience coordinating with construction teams, contractors, or build sites.
• Familiar with fiber optics, structured cabling and low-voltage systems.
• Strong relationship-building skills and ability to partner with clients and teams.
• Consulting experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee planning, execution, and finalization of multiple network infrastructure projects.
• Lead deployment of enterprise network infrastructure and related environments.
• Manage implementation across data centers, network rooms and site buildouts.
• Coordinate with construction, engineering, operations and vendors for delivery.
• Coordinate on-site infrastructure work including fiber and cabling.
• Ensure QA of all delivered infrastructure and installations.
• Produce weekly and monthly project status reports.
• Understand client challenges and translate into infrastructure solutions.
• Identify risks and mitigation plans; work independently and with the delivery team.
• Collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders for smooth execution.
• Build strong client relationships and serve as a trusted partner.
